ORDER of Christian Initiation of Adults
Becoming Catholic — OCIA
Are you interested in becoming Catholic, or do you want to learn more about the Catholic faith? The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a journey of faith for adults who are exploring Catholicism, preparing for Baptism, or completing their sacraments of initiation.
Our OCIA process is a welcoming, no-pressure experience. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, explore the teachings of the Church, and discern whether God is calling you to full communion with the Catholic Church.
OCIA sessions typically begin in the fall and culminate at the Easter Vigil. However, you are welcome to inquire at any time of year — the journey begins whenever you are ready.
